Gudswap is a purpose-driven organization committed to addressing the global problem of textile waste. We collect pre-loved clothes from individuals and give them a second life—through donation, thrifting, upcycling into new products, or recycling materials responsibly. At the core of our work is a commitment to environmental sustainability and social impact. Our operations also generate meaningful employment opportunities within local communities, empowering individuals with skills, stable income, and a shared sense of purpose.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to build a circular fashion ecosystem where clothing never becomes waste. Today, over 4 million tons of post-consumer textile waste is generated in India every year. The rise of fast fashion, combined with a lack of convenient, responsible disposal options, only worsens the crisis. Gudswap exists to break that cycle. We make sustainable disposal simple and rewarding—giving people a reason to participate in climate-conscious living, while turning discarded garments into resources that benefit the planet and the community.
